The stitching is mind-blowing...it's so finely detailed and dense.
Velvet yoke is decorated with metallic soutache embroidery. Slip on kaftan has a notch neckline, tie at neck and fitted sleeves.

FABRIC: feels like heavy weight linen

COLOR: beige with mostly burgundy embroidery.

CONDITION: there are some yellow spots here and there...barely noticeable (please see last photo). some of soutache stitches are loose and parts of the velvet pile is worn. overall great condition for its age and the flaws only add character to this treasured piece.
